The Penguin is one of Brian Hirst’s most recognisable decanters, hand-blown in Sydney and designed to be as good to use as it is to look at.

Those beautiful curves aren’t just there for show. The shape is designed to sit naturally in the hand and pour easily without dripping, while the 750ml size is made for your standard bottle of wine.

Each Penguin is made individually by hand and signed by Brian, so no two are exactly alike. You might find small variations in the glass, shape, weight or the occasional bubble. That’s all part of having something made by a person, rather than popped out of a mould.

Functional, sculptural and a pretty lovely place to put a good bottle of wine.
